27th Annual VOCATION AWARENESS CONTEST
for youth in Religious Education Programs
Kindergarten through Grade 8
"INSPIRATION AND EXAMPLE IN VOCATIONS"
Purpose: The purpose of the vocation contest is to increase an AWARENESS and APPRECIATION of Church vocations - emphasis upon answering God's call to the priesthood, diaconate, and religious life. The contest is directed toward Kindergarten through Eighth Grade youth in Religious Education Programs.
Theme: The them for the contest this year will be "Inspiration and Example in Vocations." Contestants are asked to express through poster, prayer or symbol (design) what you find fascinating about the work of a priest, deacon or religious and why you consider it to be a rewarding way of life.
Deadline for entries: Contest entries must be in to the Faith Formation Office
by March 1st, 2018
Award Date: Awards will be presented by Bishop Malone at the Catholic Center on Thursday, May 17th at 2:30 pm. A reception will follow.
