Accompanying Youth on their Journey of Faith
Saturday, September 22nd
St. Leo the Great, Amherst
Accompaniment is our model for ministry with youth and their families. God began the conversation with young people; our job is to pay attention to what God is doing in the lives of young people, walk with youth as they grow in discipleship, and help them discern their response to God's plan for their life. Topics include:
* Accompanying Young People Today
* Becoming a Faith Companion
* Helping Youth Pray, Discern and Explore their Vocation
This workshop is guided by the 2018 Synod on Young People, the Faith and Vocational Discernment. It is designed for all parish leaders whose ministries touch the lives of adolescents and their families-including pastors, deacons, pastoral associates, coordinators of youth ministry, leaders in faith formation and catechists, Confirmation preparation leaders, service/social concerns leaders, and parents.
In order to encourage as many people as possible from our diocese to attend, we are offering a 50% discount on all registrations received by August 31st. Contact us to for the discount code.
