PARENTS
The best preparation for receiving one's First Eucharist is to attend mass weekly to familiarize the children with the gestures and prayers.

Children may question why they need to attend mass.
Think about why you should as a family attend mass.
Then read these.
Here is a great article, Why Do I Have to Go to Mass?
Here is part 2 of the article.

Parents of children who will be preparing for the Sacrament of Eucharist  gather met on October 27th.

Children preparing for the Sacrament of First  Holy Communion and their families attended the 11 am teaching mass on Sunday, November 18th.
Click here for a picture from last year.

The Sacrament of First Holy Communion will be held on
Sunday, May 5th at both the 9am and 11am Mass

Children are to be in the Parish Ministry Center
1/2 hour before Mass begins.
After Mass, they will need to come back
to the Parish Ministry Center to pick up their banners.

Preparing for First Communion begins with sharing mealtime at home. Here is an article on tips for a better family mealtime.
